I am Betsy Binder, the owner of this store, where you can find greeting cards for kids, wall hangings, songs, and children's e-books also known as audiobooks as well as Betsy's memoir, "Hold on, Honey!"

For most of my life, I have been writing stories and poetry and composing songs mostly for children.
I am a flutist and a French teacher. I am passionate about horses and music, but my greatest passion is for children.  My four children are now grown and have their own children whose lives I am privileged to share.

Many years ago, I discovered the poetry of A.A. Milne, the author of Winnie the Pooh. We all know Winnie and his friends, but not all of us know Milnes' poetry. Since it is now in the Public Domain, I am going to begin to set some of his poems to music and when that has been accomplished, the songs will be available on this site via mp3.

One of my favorite stories is one that I adapted from a real incident in my life when I played in an orchestra. This story, The Prince of Snores, tells the story of an old bassoon who falls asleep in his orchestra chair while counting measures as he waits his turn to play a solo!

I hope that the stories and songs I am offering will bring your child happiness and will brighten
his or her day at least a little bit.  And, if you read my memoir, I hope it will make you smile!
Actually, I hope it makes you laugh but even a genuine smile will do.
